As the Founder of Grow Hub GR – Grand Rapids first female-owned and privately funded purpose-driven business incubator and coworking community, Stephanie Scott-Kolakowski has heard first-hand from members and community partners the need to grow and further leverage accessible media, data and technology solutions to grow business, impact, recruit and retain diverse talent.
With more than 18 years of experience working in digital and broadcast media roles that ranged from Account Executive to Director Of Sales and Local Programming, Stephanie has not only a genuine heart for the community; but also an appetite for innovation and strategy. In her previous role at Townsquare Media as Director of Sales and Marketing, she worked hand-in-hand with the M&A department and analytics team on developing strategic partnerships – which included significant local investments in local businesses and communities here in west Michigan.
A native of West Michigan, Stephanie is a Grand Rapids Business Owner and Walker Resident who has called Grand Rapids home for 13+ years. This new partnership role provides an opportunity to leverage her years of experience in the industry with her love and desire to connect communities through partnerships and innovation.
“I am excited to partner in growth with the iHeart Media team on business development and strategic sales. We are passionate about providing access and opportunity for entrepreneurs and families to grow and thrive in life and business at Grow Hub GR,” said Scott-Kolakowski. “By partnering and joining the iHeartMedia team, the #1 audio company in the country, we will be able to provide a platform for local businesses and economic partners at scale. Inclusive of digital, radio, podcasts, influencers, data and events. I admire the leadership of Market President Tim Feagan and his team in Muskegon and Grand Rapids. The team is one I trust and shares the same core values; together I look forward to continuing to grow business and impact through multi-platform solutions and investment in our community.”
In the role with iHeartMedia as outside strategic partnership sales, iHeartMedia will also become the “Official” audio partner of Grow Hub GR/Grow Business Today. Stephanie Scott-Kolakowski and team will be focused on education, activation, and business development, which will include providing information and training on a monthly basis for local partner businesses, start ups and city governance interested in leveraging data and audio for business and economic growth.
“We are excited to have someone of Stephanie’s experience and expertise joining our account team. We look forward to her working with our clients to develop innovative solutions utilizing iHeart’s extensive and diverse media brands and assets,” said Tim Feagan, Market President, iHeart Media.
